RanchWell ยท Before the job

Hauling cattle

  1. โ˜ The trained adult has checked the truck, hitch, tires, lights, brakes, gates, and latches.
  2. โ˜ Children and visitors have a waiting place away from backing, hitching, and loading.
  3. โ˜ Cattle have clean water before loading. The adult has checked weather, the route, and current animal movement rules with the vet.
Stop and check

A trailer problem needs fixing. If an animal is sick or injured, ask your vet before deciding to haul it.

Tell your family: never stand between a backing truck and trailer.

These are reminders, not a full job plan. Checked boxes do not prove a job is safe.
